Obituary	Margaret Holmes Knowles The funeral of Margaret Holmes Knowles, who died in Lawrence, Mass., Monday, Nov. 23, was held at 10 o’clock, Friday, Nov. 27, from the church of the Messiah and was largely attended. Rev. George Bruce Nicholson of Waterville officiated, singing by members of the choir. Mrs. Knowles was the widow of the late Thomas B. Knowles and had been a resident of this town for fifty years and was highly respected by a host of friends. Mrs. Knowles was born in Douglass, Isle of Man, Dec. 25, 1831, coming to this country when a young girl. She is survived by three daughters and one son, Mrs. F. L. Rowell of this town, Mrs. C. A. Knapton and Mrs. E. K. Campbell of, Lawrence, Mass., and W. A. Knowles of Yale, Michigan, also four grandchildren, Mrs. H. M. Lancy of Monson, Mass., Miss Doris L. Campbell of Lawrence, Mass., and Donald and Thomas Rowell of this town.
