Obituary	J. A. Jose The death of J. A. Jose occurred at his home on upper Main street, Dexter, at 1.40 o'clock Tuesday morning. The deceased was a great sufferer both in body and mind, having had three shocks since last December, Mr. Jose lost his wife, the late Sarah M. Jose, Dec. 17, with pneumonia, and a daughter in January, three weeks following, of the same disease. The afflicted family has the sympathy of the entire community. Mr. Jose was cared for by his daughter, Mrs. Lillian Gilbert and his son, Alvin L. Jose, of Dexter. Besides these he leaves two other daughters, Mrs. Annie F. Johnson of North Dexter, and Mrs. W. E. Whitney of Newport. The deceased was a resident of Dexter for over 30 years and a highly respected citizen.
