Obituary
Mrs. Gustave Thompson Mrs. Gustave Thompson passed away at her home on lower Main street Sunday night at the age of 67 years. She had been in her usual good health till about two months ago when she was taken ill and gradually failed. She was born in Dexter and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Levi D. Bridgham. She was one of the first members of Martha Washington Rebekah lodge, No. 18, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, having attained the office of past grand of that Order. She was also a member of Wassookeag Chapter, No. 44, Eastern Star. Besides her husband she leaves a sister, Mrs. C. H. Hayden, and niece, Mrs. C. M. Crossland, to mourn their loss, besides a large circle of friends who will be deeply grieved to learn of her death. She was a communicant of the Universalist church and took a deep interest in the church work and an active part in the work of the lodges to which she belonged. Services were held this forenoon at 10 o’clock from her late home, Rev. S. G. Spear officiating.
