Obituary
KENNETH R. HILL DEXTER - Kenneth R. Hill 77, died April 15, 1996, at a Dover- Foxcroft hospital after a long illness. He was born June 6, 1918, at Ripley, the son of Raymond and Ruth (Hurd) Hill. He graduated from N.H. Fay High School, Class of 1935, and graduated from the Maine School of Commerce in Bangor. He served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant during World War 11. He was a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post American Le- gion and was a member of the Fay- Scott band for many years. He also taught trumpet in the Dexter area. He was an avid camper. For 22 years, he was employed as a postal clerk at the Dexter Post Office. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Charlene (Patten) Hill of Dexter; two daughters, Andria Leonard of Dexter and Sylvia Clouse of Ver- mont; one brother, William Hill of LaVerne, Calif.; two grandsons, Jef- frey Leonard of Bangor and Christo- pher LeGasse of Vermont; two granddaughters, Catherine Leonrd Hafner of York, Pa., and Jennifer Crouse of Vermont; Four great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside committal will be held lat- er in the spring at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
