Obituary
RALPH W. TITCOMB ABBOT - Ralph W. Titcomb, 31, died Feb. 14, 1978, at a Bangor hospital as a result of a plane crash. He was born Sept. 11, 1946, in Dexter, the son of Franklin and Leta (Sawyer) Tit- comb. He graduated from, Guilford schools and the Univer- sity of Maine Class of 1968. He was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. He serv- ed in the Army as an officer in the finance corps. He served in Vietnam. He had owned and operated Titcomb's General Store in Abbot for the post seven years. Mr. Titcomb was very ac- tive in local affairs in Abbot, Guilford and surrounding areas. He was a member of the Corner Trafton Post of the American Legion of Guilford, past member of the Guilford Kiwanis Club, 32nd Degree Mason member of the Mt. Kineo Masonic Lodge in Guilford and belonged to the Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor. He is survived by his parents of Abbot one brother, Charles R. of Sanger- ville; two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Beverly) Bridge of Parkman, Mrs. Barry (Charlene) Stultz of Waterboro; several nieces, nephews aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Fri- day, 2 p.m., at the Abbot Com- munity Church, with Postor Daryl Witmer officictting. Spring burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. Friends may call at the Neal Funeral Home, Guilford, Thursday, 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Please omit flowers.
