Obituary	ROGER D. WAKEFIELD BRADENTON, FLA. - Roger D. Wakefield, of Bradenton, Fla., died Jan. 23, 1997, after a long ill- ness. Mr. Wakefield was born June 13, 1936 at Dexter and resided in the Ripley area until his recent move to Florida. He is survived by his wife of 4l years, Marian; three sons, Daniel of Melrose, Mass., Christo- pher of Lewiston, Zachary of Bra denton, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Virginia Lynn Hight of Dexter, Ms. Melanie Wakefield of Epping, N.H. and Mrs. Katherine Marianne Ran- dall of Ripley; three grandchildren, Tobias, Tasha and Ethan Hight of Dexter. He is also survived by a younger brother of Pittsfield. Mr. Wakefield was a member of Penob- scot Lodge No. 39 AF & AM and Wassookeog Chapter No. 44, Order of the Eastern Star in Dexter.
