Obituary
Mrs. Amanda Kimball Mrs. Amanda Kimball, who has been a resident of Dexter for 15 years, the widow of the late Almon Kimball, died at the home of her son, Fred Harrington, in Parkman, June 29. Sixty-two years ago she became the bride of Winslow Harrington with whom she lived 30 years. Her daughters and sons were numbered at 14 only two of whom survive her when she died at the age of 78 years. Beside the son in whose house she died in Parkman, she leaves another, son, George Harrington of Santa Cruz, California, with whom she spent some months a year ago. A daughter, Clara Bailey, who died 28 years ago in Cambridge, was with Mrs. Amanda Kimball, her mother, a consistent member of the Methodist church in Dexter. A memorial window in the edifice indicates the esteem in which Mrs. Bailey was held. Mrs. Kimball was a benevolent woman and a life member of the missionary society. Her grandchildren, Mrs. Frank Worthen of Dexter and Hazel and Howard Nicbols of Auburn and the children of Fred Harrington, Frank and Clair were in attendance upon the funeral of their grandmother, which was conducted by the Methodist minister of Guilford.
