Obituary	LLOYD H. WOOD SR. RIPLEY - Lloyd H. Wood, Sr., died June 1, 1998. He was born in Parkman, June 18, 1935, the son of George and Violet Wood. From 1954 to 1957 he served with his twin brother, Floyd, in the United States Army stationed in Iceland and Ft. Benning, Georga. Lloyd was employed for many years at Dexter Shoe Co. in Dexter and did roofing and carpentry in the Dexter area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his many friends everwhere. He is sur- vied by his wife of 42 years, Laurice E. (Vittum) Wood; two sons, and there spouses, Lloyd H. I Wood Jr. and Christine of Lee, and Mi- chael A. Wood and Sandra of Har- mony; three granddaughters, Tif- fany, Lila and Diane Wood; two brothers, Robert of Farmington and Floyd of Wellington; a sister, Mary Cobb of Harmony; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 1998, at the First Free Baptist Church Dexter.
