Obituary	ERROLD W. ARNOLD Dexter - Errold W. Arnold, 80, died unexpectedly, June 8, 1998, at his residence. He was born April 8, 1918,at Bradford, the son of Ralph and Hortense (Stanhope) Arnold. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War 11 and was a member of the Poulliot- Seavey Post No. 53 American Le- gion. He was employed for 37 years at Fay & Scott in Dexter. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, and was a member of Pe- nobscot Lodge No. 39 AF & AM. Er- rold was a member of the Dexter Golden Age Club and was a post member of the Dexter Fish & Game Association. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce (Downing) Arnold of Dexter, three daughters. and their husband's Linda and Douglas Cote of Dexter, Brenda and Gary Hanson of Ripley, Loeilse and Jay Locke of Hanson, Mass.; four grandchildren, Tina and husband, Vince Sawyer, Stacey and husband, Kevin MacDonold, Philip and wife, Sandy Cote, and Michael Breen; two step-grandchildren, Joni and Jon Hanson; six great- grandchildren; one brother, Earland and wife, Jeanette Arnold of Charleston; four sisters, Hilda and husband, Henry Chase of Bradford, Helen Brosslett and friend, Pete Nadeau of Glen- burn, Loretta and husband, Fred Chase of East Corinth, Glenda and husband ,John Brackett of Bradford; sister-in-law, Marice Arnold of Bradford; several nieces and neph- ews. He was predeceased by a brother, Durward. Friends may call 6-8 r.m. Wednesday, at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St., Dexter. An American Leciion service will be conducted 7 P.m. at the fu- neral home. Funeral Services will be held 4 P.M. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Dexter, with the Rev. Jay Brennan, officiating. Burial will be in in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, Main St., Dexter, 04930.
