Obituary	William W. Cox DEXTER - William W. Cox 79 died July 12, 1997 at a Dexter health-care center after a long ill- ness. He was born Feb. 26, 1918, at Sherman, the son of Albert and Besse (Frank) Cox. He attended school in Sherman. He worked for the state highway department for most of his life, re- ing in 1970 due to failing heath. He was predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Hattie (Mooers) Batchelder Cox; and three broth- ers Granville, Dan and Ralph. He is survived by a special niece, Marion Dupuis of Dexter, who lived with and cared for him; also a stepson, Harold and his wife, Batchelder of Exeter; six great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. At his request there will be no visting hours. A graveside funer- service was conducted Tuesday Crowell Cemetery, Exeter. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, Dexter.
