Obituary	ELINOR P. HAMMOND DEXTER and LAKELAND, FLA. Elinor P. Hammond 80, wife of the late Leon F. Hommond, died Aug. 16, 1998, at her residence in Lakeland, Fla. She was born Sept. 21, 1917, in Brownville, the daughter of Maynard D. and Ethel (Martin) Poole. She was a graduate of Foxcroft Academy, Aurora Col- lege in Illinois and received her masters degree from the University of Maine. Mrs. Hammond taught in Brooklin, Brooks, Howland, at the University of Maine, and then for many years in the Dexter school system. She was a member of the Advent Christian Church, Maine Re- tired Teachers Association and Kappa Delta Pi. She will be sadly missed by her adopted family, with whom she made her home in Flor- ida, Pastor Kimble Cookson, his wife, Linda and their children, Abram and Jesse; and several cousins. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, 1998, at Dover Cemetery, with Pastor Kimble Cookson offici- ating. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Dover- Foxcroft.
