Obituary
EVA MAE WOODWARD The sudden death of Eva Mae Woodward occurred at the Dexter hospital on Wednesday. She was born in Chesterville, Maine, April 15, 1882. She was a member of Atkinson Grange, the first woman to join the Farm Bureau in Piscataquis county, and a member of the Free Baptist Church. Remains are at the Crosby Funeral Parlor where friends may call. Services will be at the Free Baptist Church at 1 p. m. Saturday, with the Rev. Donald Macomber officiating. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery in Atkinson. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Carr, Dexter, and Mrs. William Lyford, Jr., of Dover-Foxcroft, two sisters, Mrs. Lena Boyington, Portland and Mrs. Gertrude Bishop of Auburn; three brothers, Ledgewood of Washington, D. C., George of Massachusetts and Guy of Portland; four grand- children, several nieces and nephews.
