Obituary	FREDERICK J. "TED" CLARK DEXTER - Frederick J. “Ted” Clark, 75, died June 25, 2005, at his daughter’s residence in Dexter, following a long illness. He was born July 30, 1929, in Rumford, son of Fred and Mildred (McCarthy) Clark. During the Korean Conflict he served in the US Air Force in Germany, where he played baseball and basketball. Ted taught school and coached in the Dexter school system for 21 years. He was a member of the Maine and National Teacher’s Associations. He was a member of the Maine High School Coaches Association, and was named “Coach of the Year” in 1972. Ted was inducted into the University of Maine at Farmington's Athletics Hall of Fame in 1996, and in 2003 the Dexter baseball field at Crosby Park was named in his honor. He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth "DeeDee" Killilea, and Margaret and her husband, Richard Veazie all of Dexter; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Killilea of Gorham, and Kristy and Brittany Veazie of Dexter; a brother, Matt and his wife, Bea Clark of Largo, Florida; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeannine (Decoteau) Clark in 1983 and a son, Frederick in 1966. Friends may call 6 to 8 PM, Sunday, July 10, 2005, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 61 Main St. in Dexter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 11, 2005, at 10 AM, at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter, with the Rev. Fr. Ray Morency officiating.
