Obituary	PERSIS G. SNOWMAN DEXTER - Persis G. Snowman, 77, went home to be with the Lord, Aug. 2, 2005, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was born June 3, 1928, in Blanchard, the daughter of John A. and Mary R. (Marshall) Knowlton. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and enjoyed her flower garden, cooking, collecting recipes and cookbooks. In her earlier years, she embroidered, crocheted and sewed quilts. She loved the Boston Red Sox and spent her Sundays listening to Souls Harbor. She is survived by her sons, Perry Frost and wife, Tina, of Dexter, Gerry Frost and wife, Ruth, of Oklawaha, Fla. and Darryl Frost of Staunton, Va.; a daughter, Beatrice Hilton and her husband, Harry, of Brownville Junction; a son, Douglas Pratt and his wife, Dawn, of Dexter; daughters, Rhonda Legere of Dexter and Mary Davis and her husband, Forrest, of St. Albans; her grandchildren, Travis Frost, Gary Frost, Lisa Frost, Rhonda Riley, Sandy Dodge, Dawn Frost, Darryl Frost Jr., Debra Frost, Valentina Burdin, William Batchelder, Scott Pratt, Larry Pratt, Selena Fogg, Rhonda Moore, David Moore, Kristophea Moore, Joshua Snowman, Kristen Davis, Harley Davis, Sadie Davis and "Bubba". Friends may call noon until 1 p.m. Friday, at the First Free Baptist Church, Spring Street, Dexter, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor William Walters officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by the Thompson Funeral Home, 30 St. Albans Road, Corinna.
