Obituary	Word was received here Tuesday of the death of J. Ran Safford of Farmington, Wash., aged about 64 years. He was a former resident of Dexter and was a brother of Arthur Safford of this place. He had been in poor health for some time previous to his death. He was in Dexter last winter visiting relatives and friends.
