Obituary	MRS. ARTHUR P. ABBOTT Funeral services for Mrs. Flora P. Abbott, 88, who died Sunday at her Free street home after a long illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at the home. She was the widow of Arthur P. Abbott, well-known woolen manufacturer. The Rev. Stanley Gates Spear of Beverly, Mass., a former pastor of the local First Universalist Church, officiated. Bearers were George Abbott, Carleton Bucknam, Donald Champeon and Thomas Tillson. Interment will be in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. She was born in Foxcroft, Jan. 11, 1864, daughter of Shepard and Flora (Shaw) Parkman. She was educated at Westbrook Seminary and had spent the greater part of her life in Dexter, although she had traveled extensively abroad and in the United States. She is survived by a son, Jere Abbott, of Dexter.
