Obituary	Annie Butterfield, wife of Supt. E. L. Palmer, died at their home on Maple street last Monday evening after a brief illness, aged 32 years. Mrs. Palmer was the daughter of Dr. J. C. Butterfield of Guilford and a woman of unusual ability and worth. She was educated in Hallowell Classical school and was a graduate of Bates college, '99. Previous to her marriage she taught some time in Concord, N. H., and Bowdoinham. Her residence here was brief but those who had become acquainted with her were warm friends. The funeral services were held at the house this morning at 10 o'clock, Revs. W. H. Gould of this village and I. H. Lidstone of Guilford officiating. The remains will be taken to Hallowell for interment. She leaves a husband and little child who have the sympathy of our people in their great affliction.
