MRS. Ruth Mower DEXTER - Ruth Mower, 55, died Jan. 8, 1985 at her Spring Street,resi- dence, Dexter, after a long illness. She was born April 10,1929, in Penobsquis, Can.,the daughter of James and Eva (Bunnel) Adair. She was a member of the First Free Baptist Church and had been em- ployed by Dexter Shoe Co. for eight years before her retirement due to health. She is survived by her hus- band, Carroll; six sons, Richard, Kenneth,David, Michael and Philip, all of Dexter, and, William of England; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Carol) Cook of Sussex,. Can.; and Mrs. Bryon (Mary) Clukey of Ripley ;one brother, Rus- sell Adair of Penobsquis; three sisters, Mrs.. Cora Lewis of Penobsquis, Mrs. Lillian Porlee and Mrs. Grenville (Rhoda) Patter- son, both of Moncton,NB; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral ser- vices will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the First Free Baptist Church with the Rev. Warren Johnson offi- ciating. Friends may call at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, 7-9 Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Thurs- day. Interment will be in Dexter Cemetery in the spring. Friends wishing to make memorial contribu- tions may forward them to Mayo Tumor Clinic in care of Mrs, Kathy Malatesta, Mayo Hospital, Dover- Foxcroft.
