Obituary	Jeremiah Knox Deacon Jeremiah Knox, one of the oldest citizens of the town, passed away Tuesday night about 10 o'clock at the home of his son, Geo. B. Knox, on the Charleston road, after a short illness from the grip. Mr. Knox was born in Livermore, Dec. 7, 1817, being at the time of his death 91 years, three months and 16 days of age. He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Emma J. Barton, and a son, George B. Knox, both residents of Dexter. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the home, Rev. J. Chester Hyde officiating.
