Obituary	Bernard J. Towle Bernard, the second son of John L. and Iva M. Towle, passed to the higher life on the morning of Feb. 9, after a short Illness from that dread disease, diabetes, at the age of 5 years and 7 days. Although everything was done that loving hands and medical skill could do to minister to the needs of the little sufferer, our love could not keep him here. Little Bernard won the love and admiration of all who knew him, with his bright and manly ways, ever ready to do any act of helpfulness. He leaves a broken family circle of father, mother, brother and sister. Services were held from the home Feb. 11, Rev. Stanley Gates Spear speaking words of comfort to the grief-stricken parents and friends. "One precious to our hearts has gone, The voice we loved is stilled; The place made vacant in our home Can never more be filled.”
