Obituary
Emmeline Carr Mrs. Emmeline Carr, widow of the late George Carr, who lives with her son, Charles, passed away last Monday morning about nine o'clock. Mrs. Carr had been confined to her bed for three months in a helpless condition, and everything that kindness and willing hands could do to make her last days comfortable was done, and the patience with which she bore her troubles testified that she was reconciled to the dispensations of Providence. Mrs. Carr has lived in her late home the most of her married life, if not all. She was a devoted Christian, and was respected by a large circle of friends who will feel her loss very much. She leaves two sons, George W., who resides in the West, and Charles B., with whom she lived, also several grandchildren, all of whom will feel her loss and to such to the sympathy of the large circle of friends extended. Her age was 81 years, one mouth and 28 days. The funeral took place at the home on Wednesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. J. A. Wiggin of the Free Baptist church. The remains were placed in the tomb at Mount Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were Abram Sharp, Beth Bessey, R. M. Barton and F. 0. Gee.
