Obituary	Death of Mrs. Ann M. Dexter. Mrs. Ann M. Dexter died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. L. Wellington, Monday night, Jan. 9th, at the age of 69 years. Mrs. Dexter was a most estimable and highly respected woman and her death is a severe blow to the family who have the sympathy of the community. The illness resulting in the death of the deceased was due to various complications, jaundice being one of the chief ailments from which she suffered. The funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wellington, the Rev. Albert Hartt of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating, of which denomination Mrs. Dexter was a consecrated and faithful member. The pall bearers will be Marcus S. Huson, John S. Stevens, W. R. Pipes, H. B. Thayer. Interment will be made in Fairmount. Presque Isle Herald, Jan. 12. Mrs. Dexter was the daughter of H. G. H. and Elizabeth Swanton and spent the earlier part of her life in Dexter, where she had many warm friends. She married for her first husband Mr. Seth Wiley of Fryeberg, Me., by whom she had three children, who survive her one son and two daughters, Mrs. Lizzie Dexter of Presque Isle, Albert Wiley of Dover and Mrs. J. L. Wellington of Presque Isle, with whom she made her home; also four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Sarah H. Swanton and Mrs. H. P. Dexter of Dexter, Wm. H. Swanton of Newton Center, Mass., Mrs. Catherine Chase of Dover, Albert J. Swanton of North Conway, N.H., Frank Swanton of Attleboro, Mass., and Mrs. Georgia Drew of Guilford. She married her second husband Mr. Daniel Dexter of Foxcroft, where she lived until after his death.
