Obituary	Alfred Austin of Parkman, well known to most of our people, died at his home last Thursday evening, Jan. 5, aged 76 years. Mr. Austin had been ill for a long time gradually failing until the end came. Mr. Austin was one of our most intelligent farmers and was highly respected by all. The funeral was held at the home last Monday, Revs. W. R. Gould and B. G. Seaboyer officiating. He left a wife and six children, as follows: Three daughters, Mrs. Ella M. Weeks, Monson, Mrs. Mary E. Bean, Parkman, and Miss Samantha A. Austin, Seattle, Washington.; three sons, Burd A. Austin, Hartland, C. P. Austin, Parkman and W. D. Austin, Dexter.
