Obituary	STEPHEN McCOURTNEY AUGUSTA- Stephen P. McCourtney, 24 of Peal City, Hawaii died Sunday in an accident in Honolulu, Hawaii. He was born in Gardiner, Maine, Dec. 1, 1951, the son of Paul and Shirley ( Willie ) McCourtney. He was a graduate of Dexter Regional High School, and University of Maine in Farmington, class of 1974. He was a member of the Thi Sigma Pi fraternity.He was an insurance agent, employed by American Growth Corp. in Honolulu. He is survived by his father, Paul McCourtney oh Hallowell, his mother, Mrs. Shirley Goulette of Chelsea; three half brothers, Daniel and Scott Goulette of Chelsea, Perry McCourtney of Hallowell; a half - sister, Miss Kathrine McCourtney of Hallowell; a step - sister, Miss Sharalyn Morrison of Hallowell, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph McCourtney of Augusta; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Friends may visit Friday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Knowlton and Hewins Funeral Home, 15 Flagg Street, Augusta, where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
