Obituary
E. B. Ramsdell The death of E. B. Ramsdell occurred Wednesday at the residence of his daughter in Ripley. For many years after his marriage Mr. Ramsdell was a farmer in which occupation he was most successful owning a large farm in St. Albans until a few years ago, when he retired from active life and moved to Dexter, residing in this town until about one year ago. The deceased was a member of one of the very oldest lodges of the Odd Fellows and was a past grand of of that organization. Later he was transferred and accepted as a member of the Dexter lodge. He was a charter member of Silver Lake encampment, I. 0. 0. F, of Dexter and was a man highly respected and esteemed by all those having the privilege of his acquaintance The funeral services were held on Friday afternoon in Ripley, the Rev. Stanley Gates Spear, pastor of the First Universalist church, officiating. The members of the Odd Fellow lodge gave the impressive burial service of their order and the interment was in Ripley.
