Obituary
William Harvel Leach William Harvel Leach died Sunday at the home, of his niece, Mrs. Leonard Safford in this town, at the age of 82 years, 11 months and 24 days. He was born in Sangerville, a son of Dr. Jeremiah Riggs Leach and Rebecca Harvel. He lived in Sangerville until 1862 when he came to Dexter and resided until 1876 when he moved to Marlboro, Mass., where he resided until recently. His wife died one year ago last March. Mr. Leach is survived by one brother, John E. Leach of Berwick and one sister, Mrs. Susan H, Turpel of Buffalo, N. Y., and two children, Mrs. Adelia R. Waldron of Waterville and Charles W. Leach of Boston. The deceased was one of the first members of Plymouth lodge, I. 0. 0. F., of this town and also a member of Canton Hudson, I. 0. 0. F., of Marlboro, Mass. In 1905 he was an honorary member for life of the Patriarchs Militant. The funeral services were held at the Safford residence yesterday morning at ten o'clock at Rev. E. C. Whittemore, D. D., of Waterville officiating. Interment was at Elmwood cemetery.
