Obituary	ALFRED JOHN REED DEXTER - Alfred John Reed, 65, died Aug. 30, 1995 at his residence on the Garland Road, after a long illnss .He was born Nov. 19, I929, in James- town, R.I., the son of Russell D. and Mary (Santos) Reed. Al worked as a millwright for Local No. 621 in Brew- er for many years. He served in the Armed Forces and was stationed in Japan. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia (Nadeau) Reed; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Merion Ouellette of Pittsfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Allan and Suzan Reed of Corinna; four broth. ers, L. A. Reed of Georgia, Ted Reed of Belfast, Roger Reed of Glenburn, Charles Reed of Carmel; four sis- ters, Christine Rolfe of Pittsfield, Barbara Davis of Etna, Letho Dodge and Lydia Grass of Dexter; five grandchildren, two great-grandchil- dren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Rusty Reed. At the request of the family, there will be no funeral ser- vices. A memorial graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Donations may be made in his memory to the Mayo Regional Hospital Intensive Care Unit, 75 West, Main St., Dover Foxcroft, ME 0,4426.
