Obituary	JOSEPH W. H. PORTER CORINNA - Joseph W. H. Porter, 86, husband of Alice (Eastman) Por- ter, died unexpectedly March 4, 1995, at a Bangor hospital. He was born April 12, 1908, in Caribou, the son of Dr. Joseph and Alice(Gabl) Porter. He graduated from Caribou High School and the Massachusett Col- lege of Pharmacy. He was a veteran of World War 11 and was a member of Corinna Post American Legion. He was the former owner of the Rexall Drug stores in Dexter and Corinna, which he operated for more than 28 years. He was a mem- ber of the International Woodwork- ers Association and was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He had also served as selectman and assessor for the town of Corinna. Surviving, in addition to his wife of Corinna, are several nieces and nephews and their families. Private funeral services for the family will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, Pleasant Street, Corinna, with the Rev. Bruce Hudson officiating. Spring burial for his family and friends will be in Village Cemetery, Corinna, at a time to be announced.
