Obituary	GERTRUDE E. EDGECOMB DEXTER - Gertrude E. Edgecomb, 87, wife of the late James Edge- comb, died Aug. 24, 199A, at a Dex- ter nursing home. She was born Jan. 6, 1907, in Caribou, daughter of Owen and Mary (Skiegel) Burgess. She was a member of the First Free Baptist Church in Dexter. She is sur- vived by two sons, Erwin Edgecomb and James Edgecomb, both of Dex- ter; five daughters, Betty Trembly of Newport, Brenda Watson of Sanger- ville and Selinda Simonds of Cor- inna; one sister, Madeline Goode of Oakland; 27 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren. She was pre- deceased by a daughter, Sarah Le- vasseur; and a son, Sonny Edge- comb. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Friday at Crosby & Neal Funeral Home in Dexter. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Ray officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter.
