Obituary	William P. Cummings Died, in Holyoke, Mass., March 10, William P. Cummings, aged 68 years and three months. He leaves at Holyoke a wife, two children and grandchildren. Also one sister, Mrs. Lucretia W. Abbott of Hubbard, Oregon, a brother, Theron J. Cummings of Cambridge, Mass., and Augustus Cummings of this place. Mr. Cummings was one of the old 6th Massachusetts regiment, which fought its way through Baltimore in 1861. Afterwards he came to Maine and joined the 9th Maine regiment serving with Thomas D. Farrar, Seth Swanton, Leonard Brown and others from Dexter to the close of the Civil war.
