ETHELYN A. RAMSAY BANGOR and DEXTER - Ethelyn A. Ramsay, wife of the late, Richard H. Ramsay, of Bangor, a resident of Dex- ter for many years, died July 21,1991, at a Bangor hospital. She was born in Ripley, April 14, 1909, the daughter of Philip and Grace (Berry) Additon. She was a former teacher in the schools of Ripley, Dexter, and South Portland. For many years, Ethelyn enjoyed mu- sic and the theater and was a mem- ber of the Symphony Women of Ban- gor, St. John's Episcopal Church, Bangor, the Episcopal Church Women, Bowdoin Women, Maine and National Teachers Association, The Poulliot- Seavey American Legion Auxiliary of Dexter and the Ladies Aid of Dexter. Surviving are one son and daughter- in-law, Philip D. and Catherine S. Ramsay; one granddaughter, Camden H. Ramsay, all of Hampden; several cousins. She will be remembered by a special friend, Ellinor Carter of South Portland. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, at St. John's Episcopal Church, with the Rev. William S. Winston, rector and the Rev. Tom Benson officiating.
