Ernest L. Percival DEXTER - Ernest L. Percival,79, died April 30, 1990, at his home in Dexter. He was born in Dexter, Dec. 10, 1910, son of Willis C. and Mary (Sevey) Percival. Mr. Percival was a former Eagle Scout. He graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter, Class of 1929.In 1933, he graduated from the Universi- ty of Maine with a degree in forestry and engineering. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving in World War 11 from 1943 to 1945 as lieutenant j.g. in underwater demolition. He worked for St. Croix Paper, John Lewis Industries in Brownville Junc- tion, and retired in 1974 from the James Taylor Osteopathic Hospital in Bangor. He Is survived by one beloved sister, Maple I. Percival of Pittsfield; five children, Susanne and her husband, Jack Brown of Corinna, Annette C. Per- cival of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mary and her husband, Wayne Brower of Geneva, Fla., Randy and his wife, Carolyn Per- cival of Eddington, and David Percival of St. Petersburg,-Fla.; eight grand- children, Nancy, Andrew and Jana Brown, Angela Percival, Dallas Brower, Paul Percival, Kelly Sittner and Tracy Poissant; five great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son,Gary W. Percival, in 1987. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, May 3, at the Mitchell- Tweedie Funeral Home, Bucksport, with the Rev. Charles Brown of- ficiating. Interment was in Hillside Cemetery, Bucksport. Donations may be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, Mass. 01104.
