Obituary
Frank Jock Frank Jock, 74, died at his home on Water street Monday evening after a long illness. He was born in Saint Frederick, Canada, August 1, 1869, the son of David Christine Belanger Jock. In his early life he lived for a time in Winsor and Island Pond, Vermont, moving to Dexter at the time the railroad was being extended to Dover, where he was a member of the construction crew. For many years he worked in woolen mills having been employed in the mills of Dexter, Skowhegan, Fairfield and Kezar Falls. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Gilbert and Miss Georgia Jock of Dexter; two sons, Frank of Kezar Falls and Edward of Dexter; a sister, Mrs. Eva Vigue of Augusta and two brothers, Henry of Augusta and Charles of Rensselaer, N. Y. Funeral services were held this morning at 9 o'clock from St. Anne's Catholic church, Rev. C. J. Enright officiating and burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Funeral of Frank Jock Funeral services for Frank Jock were held Thursday morning from St.Ann's Catholic church at 9 o'clock with the Rev. C. J. Enright officiating. Burial was in the family lot at Mount Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were Horace Poulin, Fred Dyer, Edward Cleaves and Joseph A. Gilbert. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Gilbert and Miss Georgia Jock of Dexter; two sons, Frank of Kezar Falls and Edward of Dexter; six grandchildren, Marshall Gilbert, of the U. S. Navy, Milton, Thomasina, Russell, Merle and Diana Gilbert of Dexter; Miss Georgia Jock of Montreal; and Maxine Jock of Dexter. A sister, Mrs. Davis Vigue of Augusta and two brothers, Henry of Augusta and Charles of Rensselaer N. Y. also survive. Out-of-town people attending the funeral were Mrs. David Vigue and Mrs. Flora Quirion of Augusta; Mrs. Evangeline Rollins of Gardiner, Mrs. Mary Leeman, Mrs. Madeline Campbell and Harry Pooler of Guilford, Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Pullyard and Charles Pullyard of Sangerville, Mr. and Mrs. Dosity White of Dover-Foxcroft.
