Obituary	TED RICHARDS DEXTER - Ted Richards of Dexter passed on June 6,2004 at EMMC in Bangor after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. Ted was born in Waterville, 4/5/35, to Theodore Sr & Margaret (Callahan) Richards, of who he was predeceased by. He grew up in the Waterville area, the oldest of three children. Ted enjoyed telling of his many travels, most of which were made while he was a newspaper reporter/photographer & in the military. Ted wore many hats in his lifetime, from a kennel operator to his most recent, a dealer of antique boats and fishing tackle. He shared his love and appreciation of the outdoors with his children and grandchildren. Ted leaves behind a very loving wife, Elizabeth “Betty” (Cooley) Richards of Dexter. Three sons, Coby Richards and his wife Amanda and their sons Jacob and Quinton of Palmyra, Chris Richards and his wife Katie of Searsport, and Jeff Richards and his Fiance Cheryl Berginc and daughter Dakota of Dexter. A Brother John Richards and his wife Pam and their son Joe of Melborne, Florida, and a sister Patty Edmonds and her husband Roger and their children TJ, Lori, and Jodi of Texas, and many other relatives. At Ted's wishes there will be no services. Any donations in Teds memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald house of Bangor, or the American Cancer Society.
