LINWOOD H. 'TIM' HASELTINE RIPLEY - Linwood "Tim" Haseltine, 78, beloved husband of Elizabeth Raymond) Haseltine, died June 8, 1992, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 11, 1914, in Hartland, the son of Fred and Bertha (Hoyt) Hosel- tine. He graduated from N.H. Fay High School in Dexter. He was a member and lay-leader of the Ripley Methodist Church; a member of the Ripley Grange, the Pomona Grange and the State Grange. He was a past master of the Penobscot Lodge No. 39 AF & AM; and a member of the Cen- tral Council No. 18 R & S.M. He served as a selectman in Ripley for many years. He was well-known as a musi- cian, playing for dances in the local area for many years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years; a daughter, Wanda Thomas of Orono; two grandchildren, Susan Sivik and her husband, Kenneth of Bangor and Steven Jackson and his wife, Mary of Brewer; four great-grondchildren, Ty- ler, Erin, Hilary and Melanie; one brother, John Haseltine of Napa, Calif.; three sisters, Mary Dore of Gardiner, Vera Wentworth of Pitts- field and Nellie Brasier of Ripley; sev- eral nieces and nephews. He was pre- deceased by a sister, Aletho Hemenway. Masonic services will be held 7 p.m. Thursday at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 238 Main St., Dexter. Friends may call at the funer- al home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday at the Ripley Methodist Church with the Rev. Krisann Byrne-Scheri of- ficiating.
