REV. PAUL S. FICKETY EXETER - Rev. Paul S. Fickett, 41, died unexpectedly Dec. 14, 1989 at a Bangor hospital. He was borh June 4, 1948, at Dexter, the son of Marie and Mavis (small) Fickett. He attended Corinna schools and the Faith School of Theology in Charleston. He served in the U.S. Army 14th Armored Cavol- ry in Vietnam, where he was award- ed three Purpie Hearts and the Medal of Honor. He was affiliated with the Church of God of Cleveland, Tenn., and had postored churches in West Levant, Lincoln Center, Swans Island, Augusta, and was currently pastor of the Bangor Church of God. He served on the Maine Foster Parent Associa- tiom Board as well as the Northern New England Evangelism Board. He was a member of the Veterans Me- morial Post No. 205 American Legion in Augusta. He is survived by his ma- ternal grandparents, Hermon and Vi- olet Small: his mother, Mavis Bragg; his wife, Linda (Robinson) Ficktt; two sons, Seth and Chad; a daughter, Amie; two foster children, Lewis and Belinda; and a very specical child, Se- bastion Adorns, all of Exeter; two sis- toes, Merleme Spurrell of Ontario, N.Y., and Meredith Giles of Alcove, N.Y.: several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Private visita- tion will be held Friday at Crosby Fu- neral Home, 64 Main St., Newport. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the Charleston Pentecos- tal Church, with the Rev. E. J. Reyn, olds officiating. Military committol services will be held at Exeter.
