Obituary	Llewellyn Copeland, one of the best known residents of this section of the county died Friday at his home on the Corinna road at about 73 years of age. He was the son of Israel Copeland, who was one of the early settlers in western Penobscot county. The deceased had resided for many years on the old Copeland homestead a short distance from the village. He was successful as a farmer and was a man highly respected. He was a veteran of the Civil war For many years he has been one of the most prominent members of the Methodist church in this town. He has been in poor health for several months. He is survived by his wife and by two sons, Roscoe and Wilbur, who resided with him; also by two married daughters; and a brother, Oramandel Copeland, of Dexter also survives him.
