Obituary	The funeral of Mrs. Vernice Fifield was held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. L Lyford, Lower Spring street, Sunday afternoon at 2.30 o'clock, Rev. S. G. Spear of the Universalist church officiating. There was a large attendance of friends and relatives and the many offerings were beautiful. The members of the Martha Washington lodge, 18, I. 0. 0. F., met the remains at the gate of the Mount Pleasant cemetery and escorted them to the grave where services were held. The bearers were: Chas. W. Morse of Waterville, Calvin W. Fassett, W. S. Twombly, Frank Bearce of Dexter.
