Obituary
Alberto L. Sanford Funeral services of the late Alberto L. Sanford were held Monday after noon from the home of Gersham L. Gould on Main street, Rev. William Y. Morrison, pastor of the Free Baptist church officiating. The members of Bedivere lodge, Knights of Pythias, of which the deceased was formerly chancellor commander attended the services in a body and accompanied the remains to the grave in Mount Pleasant cemetery. The bearers were all members of the lodge, Messrs. Everett H. Bragdon, Charles H. Marsh, Samuel Dearborn and Charles Pooler. There were many handsome floral offerings from the many friends of the deceased here and elsewhere. The deceased was born in the town of Bradford 38 years ago. For the past twenty years he had resided in this town. By trade he was a meat cutter and was at one time employed in the markets of the late Allen Merrill, the Hoyt market and the Towle market. For the past few years he was in the employ of one of the woolen mills. Besides his mother, Mrs. Gershom L. Gould, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. W. H. Preble, of Malden, Mass., who was able to be with him through a part of his sickness but who was unable to attend the funeral Monday.
