Obituary	THERESE M. HORROCKS DEXTER - Therese M. Horrocks, 85, of Dexter, Maine, and formerly of Punta Gorda, Florida, died Saturday, March 13,2004, in Dexter. She was born Therese Marie Fregeau on March 3,1919 in Salem, Massachusetts. In 1941, Therese married Ronald L. Horrocks (1916-1993) a World War II Coast Guard veteran. Together they raised five children while residing on the Massachusetts' seacoast; in Manchester, New Hampshire; and, in Hollywood, Florida. Along the way, Therese held an open door and open refrigerator policy for her brood and their many active and noisy friends. Therese is celebrated for her gourmet culinary and creative millinery skills, and for her ability to craft unique memories for her children from everyday events, despite her lifelong challenge with illness. Therese leaves behind her grateful children, Lee Campbell of Punta Gorda, Florida; Brenda Wharem of Dexter, Maine; Sandra Mahan of St. Augustine, Florida; Richard Horrocks of Litchfield, New Hampshire; and, Donna Horrocks of Ft. Myers, Florida. Also missing Therese are 16 grandchildren, her 24 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services to honor the life of Therese Horrocks are planned for the morning of Saturday, March 20 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter, Maine.
