Charles A. Fifield The following sketch will be of interest to many Dexter people from the fact that the subject of the article, was born in this town and lived here until about ten years ago. The clipping is from The Evening Tribune (Lawrence, Mass.) "The funeral services for the late Charles A. Fifield were held at his late home, 22 Lake street, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Arthur Barber conducted the services. Monadnock lodge, I. 0. 0. F., held their ritual service at the grave. The pall bearers were members of Monadnock lodge and Kearsage encampment I. 0. 0. F. A large and beautiful display of floral tributes testified to the esteem in which the deceased was held. They included: Standing piece, Kearsage encampment; standing links, Monadnock lodge; pillow inscribed "Husband," bereaved wife; broken wreath and sickle, loom fixers at the Arlington mill; crescent inscribed "Brother," Mr. and Mrs. Fred Waite; basket, from his mother, Mrs. Mary A. Fifield; wreath, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Waite; basket, Mr. and Mrs. L. M. Dutton; spray of calla lilies, Harry Fifield; spray of roses, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Ladd of Haverhill; spray of lilies, Mr. ands Mrs. Royle and Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson; spray of pinks, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Taylor. Burial was in Bellevue cemetery."
