MRS. EARLE A. POMEROY Mrs. Hope T. Pomeroy, 43, wife of Earle A. Pomeroy, died early Tuesday morning in a Bangor hospital after a period of failing health. Funeral services were held this afternoon at the Methodist Church. The Rev. Samuel A. Bowman of Oakland, a former pastor here, and the Rev. Joseph Clare officiated. Interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. She was born in Dexter, July 16, 1908, the daughter of Marion and Lilla (Young) Tucker. A graduate of N. H. Fay High School and State Teachers' College at Farmington, she had taught school in Wellington and Garland. She was a member of the Dexter Methodist Church and the Dexter Teachers' Club. Surviving besides her husband are a son, Earle, Jr., of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Charity Pendleton, Isleboro and Mrs. Lulu Blood, of Ayer, Mass., also several nieces and nephews.
