Obituary	Eben A. Ireland The community was shocked to hear of the sudden death of E. A. Ireland, which occurred at his home on Madison Street, Wednesday evening of last week. Mr. Ireland had just finished reading his paper, when he put his hand to his head and expired almost instantly. Eben Ireland was the son of late John and Martha Day Ireland and was born in Dexter 71 years ago. Besides a widow, Mr. Ireland is sur- vived by two brothers, O. F. of Maryland and Frank of Pittsfield, Mass. Mr. Ireland came to this place about thirty-one years ago and by his sterling qualities made many friends. The funeral was held Saturday at 10 A. M. from the M. E. church, Rev. W. E. Wood officiating. The bearers were Messrs. George Merrill, George Haynes, Perham Tinkham and A. C. Walton. The interment was in the family lot in Forest Hill cemetery. ---Madison Bulletin.
