Obituary
Cecil M. Stafford Cecil M. Stafford died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Bert Sawyer, on Spring street, early Tuesday morning from measles and pneumonia. Mr. Stafford was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvah Stafford of Ripley. For the past seven or eight years he has spent most of his time in Dexter, where he was employed in the mills as a weaver. He was a young man whom everyone liked and had many friends both here and in surrounding towns, who have learned of his death with sor-row. His age was 22 years and 11 months. Funeral services were held from the home this morning at 10 o'clock and were private, Rev. Mr. Trafton officiating. There was a profusion of beautiful flowers which bore silent testimony to the esteem in which he was held by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alvah Stafford, two brothers, Merton and Kenneth and one sister, Mrs. Bert Sawyer of this town, with whom he made his home the greater part of the time. The bereaved relatives have the sympathy of all in their sorrow.
