Obituary	CHARLES T. MERRILL Funeral services for Charles T. Merrill were held Saturday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home. The Rev. A. Allan Brough of the First Baptist Church officiated and interment was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were: Roy and Stanley Martin, Rexford Slater and Lloyd Sawtelle, all of Dexter. Mr. Merrill, 88, died Thursday at the home of his son, Floyd C. Merrill, on the South Ridge road, after a long illness. He was born in Willimantic Township, Dec. 29, 1862, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Merrill. He was a resident of Parkman at one time but the greater part of his life was spent in Dexter. Besides his son he is survived by four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
