Obituary	FRED E. PARKMAN Funeral services for Fred E. Parkman, 77, who died June 27 at the home of his son, Merle, were held Friday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Clare of the Methodist Church officiated and interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Born in Sangerville, June 30, 1873, he was the son of Jotham B. and Pamela (Puffer) Parkman. He had been a resident of Sangerville until four years ago when he came to Dexter to live with his son. Surviving are his son, Merle; two grandsons, Carl and Elwood Parkman, both of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Florence Wilder, Sebastapol, Cal., several nieces and nephews.
