Obituary
Mrs. C. G. Crocker Friends of Mrs. C. G. Crocker were shocked to learn of her passing away at her home near Macomber's Corner. Mrs. Crocker had been a sufferer from asthma for the past four weeks, during which time she had been compelled to occupy a sitting position, both day and night in order to breathe with any degree of ease. One week ago an infant daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Crocker, and within a few days the mother succombed to pneumonia. Mrs. Crocker was born in Dexter being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Farrar, well known residents of this town. She was twenty-four years of age and possessed the friendship of many friends, all of whom admired her sweet personality and sunny disposition. She was united in marriage about five years ago to C. G. Crocker, and besides her husband leaves two daughters, one aged two years and the other only one week old. A father and mother survive, also three brothers, Irvin, Harold and Onel Farrar, all of Dexter, two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Ellms and Mrs. Annie Lane of Dexter, who have the sympathy of Dexter friends in this sorrow. Memorial services were held at the Crocker home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock. Onel Farrar, a brother, was unable to be present, being threatened with pneumonia.
