Obituary	Mrs. Mary Ellen Nutter Mrs. Mary Ellen Nutter, 83, widow of the late George Nutter, of Ripley, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Brawn May 4. She was born in Ripley May 20, 1860 and was a life long resident of the town where she was well known and loved by the entire community. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jewett. After the death of her husband three years ago, she made her home with her son, Maurice Nutter, until coming to Dexter last fall to spend the winter with her daughter. She was a member of Dexter Grange. Funeral services were held from the Brawn home on Park street Saturday afternoon, May 6, with the Rev. J. K. Halliday officiating. Interment was at Ferndale cemetery in Ripley. Bearers were Albert Sevey, Jesse Skillings, John Sevey, Charles Sevey and Harry Gould, all of Ripley. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Brawn of Dexter; two sons, Harold and Maurice Nutter of Ripley; one granddaughter, Mrs. Nona McKusick of Dexter.
