Obituary
Death of Mrs. Ernest Vowles Corinna people were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Marion Hall Vowles of Dexter. Mrs. Vowles has teen ill at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pearl Hall, at Morse's Corner, for several weeks, and has been delirious all of that time. It was not generally known that her condition was serious and the news of her death came as a great shock to the community where she has always lived until her marriage. The death is especially sad, since she leaves a baby only a week old, besides her young husband, father, mother, two sisters, Misses Hazel and Helen Hall, and three brothers, Jonas Hall of Dexter, Robert Hall of Bangor and Guy H. Hall of Corinna. Mrs. Vowles graduated from Corinna Union academy in the class of 1913, and was a favorite among her schoolmates and friends.
