Obituary
This neighborhood was again shocked and grieved on hearing of the death early Saturday morning of Eunice, beloved wife of Erwin Parker, and youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter McDonald of West Garland, at her home near Gilman's Corner. This is the saddest of all sad deaths, when a fair young mother gives her life for her new born babe. She was only sixteen years of age and was united in marriage to Erwin Parker of St. Albans a little more than a year ago. They have since made their home in this vicinity and have a very large circle of friends who join with the relatives in mourn- ing their great loss. Eunice was of a lovable disposition and very capable for one so young. She leaves, besides her husband and parents, an infant son, a sister and two brothers, besides her husband's relatives, wholoved her as their own. Funeral services were held at the late home Sun- day afternoon. Rev. H. A. Sherman of the Dexter Methodist church spoke loving words of comfort to the sorrowing relatives and sympathizing friends who filled the house to overflowing. Many beautiful flowers offered mute evidence of loving tribute.
